Community Guidelines
Club Courtesan is an expansive community of various individuals working in or interested in adult entertainment. We take great care to not limit our community to any one genre or any one type of person. This means everything from fine art to hardcore material can and does appear here. We do not make, and have no interest in making, any content here. The sole mission of this site is to provide others with the ability to show their material and communicate with each other in any manner they see fit, within these guidelines.
Two of our policies that deal with this are often conflicting. On one hand, it's our policy to let everyone to express themselves freely and share what they want with who they want. On another, it's our policy to do what we can to protect our members from copyright infringement, harassment, abuse, and disrespectful behavior. This guideline is meant to be as fair and balanced as possible. It will change from time to time, when we become aware of a problem or conflict.
Every member is expected to read this, be familiar with it, and help to improve it. We ask that every member help enforce these guidelines by reporting those who ignore it; this will help us keep your visits pleasant.
General guidelines
- This is not a singles / swingers site. Most members are not interested in outside personal relationships with you.
- This is a free speech site. You can express whatever you want about yourself, within these guidelines (they are pretty damn lax).
- Copyright is a big deal. Uploading photos and videos that you don't have the rights to will get your banned.
- The exception of uploading copyrighted materials for discussion. Fair use rights will apply. More below.
- Be respectful at all times. Disrespectful behavior will get you banned.
- Report annoying or disrespectful members, and rule breakers. More below.
- Try to use correct grammar and spelling. It's ok to be informal, but please don't be a jackass.
- Stay classy.
Copyrights
Please refrain from posting copyrighted material you do not own the rights to. Gross violations of copyrights will be met with the deletion of files and/or account bans.
"Fair Use" rights are complicated. For your reference, we will accept portions of copyrighted material that are open for public discussion.
Profiles
Your profile is your profile, and you can put whatever you want about yourself in it. We encourage free speech, and we encourage our members to be non-judgemental. Please refrain from the following:
- Do not link directly to check out and membership sign up pages.
- Do not post links that are excessively filled with advertisements and pop-ups.
- Please use CAPS lock responsibly.
- Do nOt tYpE lIke tHis
All in all, we only ask that you represent your true self with a little bit of dignity, and that you aren't trying to scam visitors and members of our site.
Photos
The photo section is your place to upload photos of YOU or pictures you have taken. Web sites and businesses may also upload there media as well. There are some things that are not tolerated though.
- No public "my penis" photos. This isn't a singles or swingers site, at all. If you want to share your man parts, set the album privacy to "Friends only"
- You may blur your face or any other body part. You may not make the picture ridiculously small.
- Feces, urine, or other types of defecation are not tolerated. EVER.
Groups
Groups is where you can start your own mini-community within any particular category. There is a wall, a discussion board, photos, and videos. The group moderator can turn these on and off and has full discretion.
The only thing we ask is that you do not make groups that are only for file-sharing.
Reporting members
Reporting a member is completely anonymous. We do encourage you to report members for being annoying, disrespectful, or rule breakers. It's the only way we truly know they are disrespecting or annoying you. Also, things can get quite busy here, and we won't always notice violations to rules. We remain vigilant at all times, and it only helps us when you report someone.
"Report" links are found through out the site. As well as "flag this" links. You can also always send a message to a moderator as well.
